LA FIAMMA NECROLOGY SECTION - SUBMISSION GUIDE

MONDAY EDITION

General Public - by 5:00 pm Friday afternoon, and must be prepaid.

The office of La Fiamma will be open on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm for notices of persons deceased on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sunday hours are limited to phone and online assistance only.

Funeral Directors – by 2:00 pm on Sunday via email necrology@lafiamma.com.au

THURSDAY EDITION

Notices must be in by 12 pm on Wednesday.

PREMIUM NECROLOGY NOTICES

Our digital first funeral notice option. With many readers also engaging online — this feature allows approved notices to be published immediately on our website (after final approval and payment) and then published in the requested  print edition.  Boost your notice by adding the Necrology Premium Surcharge -speak to one of our team members for further details.

FORMAT AND CONTENTS 

Please ensure that ALL information ie - days and dates, times, and especially SPELLING of names - is correct at the time of submission.

La Fiamma adheres to certain formats, typefaces, sizes and language registers. Customers should be aware that unusual requests may not be accommodated, and we reserve the right to edit texts accordingly.

PROOFS

Proofs will be sent via email for confirmation of spelling and text.

Please note that we do not send final artwork.  The layout and formatting of notices are managed by another department just prior to printing.

TRANSLATION SERVICES

All advertisements will be translated at no extra charge. 

Extensive translations will require a committed minimum advertising size.  For private notices, prepayment may be required before the translation is prepared.

PHOTO SUBMISSION

Photos are available to be published in colour: please refer to the costing table below.

Please send photos via email, as JPG attachments,  including the name of the deceased.

We also accept photos in hard copy.

Photos are to be supplied in 300dpi at least 100$ of the column size. Take into consideration that photos are cropped. 

CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES OR AMENDMENTS

Please send notification of these via fax or email no later than 11:00 am the day prior to publication.

RATES AND PAYMENTS

Funeral notice advertising rates are available here.

All prices include GST.

Notices placed privately must be prepaid.

Digital Publication - As part of the print advertisement your notice will be published on ilglobo.com and lafiamma.com.au to be able to share with family and friends across Australia, Italy and the World. Online advertisements are only available with print ads.  Without selecting Premium Digital,  the notice will go live on the same day as it appears in print.

MULTIPLE PUBLICATIONS

Notices can be placed in one or both editions of La Fiamma.

• 1st edition - Full Price
• 2nd (consecutive) edition (within 7 days) - Half Price
• These conditions apply provided no changes are made to the notice.
• If placement is for two consecutive Monday editions or two Thursday editions, full cost will apply for each edition.

PUBLICATION ALSO IN IL GLOBO

Notices can also be placed in our Melbourne based newspaper for an additional 50%.

ALL SOULS’ DAY SPECIAL INSERT

Memorial notices for the special annual insert can be booked in advance.

• $70 inc. GST, 9 cm x 1 column, ($6.60 per extra cm), includes free full colour.
• $135 inc GST 9 cm x 2 column, ($13.20 per extra cm), includes free full colour.
