Italy and South Australia Discovering Space Together

Join us at our next ALTO South Australia networking event on Thursday, 25 July, 2019 at PKF Adelaide where we will explore the current relationship and key opportunities that exist between the South Australian space industry and Italy. Italy is a key player in the global space industry sector, being the third country in the world to launch into space, and ranks #7 in the world for aerospace industry (#4 in Europe) which produces an annual turnover of US$20-billion and represents the largest manufacturing sector in Italy. In 2018 the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and signed a Letter of Intent with the South Australia government to develop strong and fruitful scientific collaborations, which has now lead to the establishment of SITEAL setting up its headquarters in Adelaide. SITEAL Spa is a leader in producing next-generation satellites and is the first large space company manufacturing space systems in Australia. ALTO-SA are proud to announce that our expert guest speakers for the evening will be Mr Nicola Sasanelli, Director of the SA Space Industry Centre, and Mr Mark Ramsey, General Manager of SITAEL Australia.
