Karen Hopkins: 'Venice Reflections'

In April 2017 I was lucky to be selected for an artist residency in Venice for a month with a group of international artists. This exhibition of works is my most eclectic to date. My time in Venice for me was a time to play and experiment and explore new techniques ideas and appreciate the beauty of this magical lagoon. This exhibition is a combination of some work created in Venice and artworks inspired by sketches photos and visual memories of my time there. I hope this show will give you a taste some of the many layers of Venice I experienced.
