The Poetry Bus to Mystery Places

Let Bruno Lettieri (Bruno Goes Everywhere) and friends take you on a magical mystery tour on The Poetry Bus. Leaving from the Williamstown Town Hall, the double-decker bus will tootle around Hobsons Bay, stopping at selected mystery locations for live poetry readings by Kristin Henry (the First Lady of The Poetry Bus on her 8th outing), Amy Bodossian (star of the vibrant performance poetry scene), Chris Ringrose (Willy Lit Fest’s own poet laureate), with a special guest appearance by Ailsa Piper (Sinning Across Spain and The Attachment). YOU BRING: your go-anywhere, I-won’t-be-daunted-by rain-or-cold ADVENTUROUS spirit; your warm jacket, hat, gloves, scarf and a torch and rug; your easy-to-carry, over-the-shoulder picnic bag with your snacks (for sharing) and mulled wine or thermos of whatever you feel like drinking (no eskies and plastic glasses only please); and a poetic disposition, and an inclination to be enchanted and wooed by POETS who make poetry come alive in the crisp winter air.
